Mixed Media Group, Inc. was founded in 1994 by industry experts and former Warner Bros. executives Susan Miller and Trina Storfer.


For 20 years our team has focused on revenue growth and brand extensions across a multitude of platforms, including consumer products, film, publishing, television, and digital. With an outstanding record of success and progressive approach, we have built meaningful products and services that have generated long-lasting results.


Susan is an entrepreneur and producer of television, film, books and digital content. She is the founding partner of three companies, Mixed Media Group, Bolder Media and Cupcake Digital, Inc., all specializing in producing and licensing world-class media properties, lifestyle and corporate brands. Susan is the Executive Producer and co-owner of the Emmy-Award winning series Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and Wubb Idol!, an award-winning television movie staring Beyoncé Knowles. Additionally, Wubbzy apps have reached number one in their categories and continue to be top sellers. Susan is the co-producer of the Miramax film Ella Enchanted, based on the Newberry Honor book, starring Anne Hathaway. In 2007, she was invited to join the Producers Guild of America (PGA).

Prior to starting her own company, Susan held executive positions with Warner Bros., American Express, Colgate and Xerox. She is a frequent speaker about media and entrepreneurship, and has presented at University of Michigan, Columbia University, MIT Sandbox Summit, NYU, KidScreen Summit, iKidScreen, International Licensing Expo, Producers Guild of America, NY Women in Film and Television and Association of American Publishers.

Trina Storfer is a founding partner of Mixed Media Group, specializing in retail strategy and brand development. With 23 years of experience in licensing and merchandising, Trina has built long-lasting and innovative licensing programs with retailers including Wal-mart, Target, Macy's, JCPenney, and Barnes & Noble.

Prior to founding Mixed Media Group, Trina worked at Warner Bros. focusing on third-party licensing programs. Before joining Warner Bros., Trina had a career in fashion as Vice President of Licensing and Retail at Concepts Myerco, Inc., a Canadian apparel manufacturer and retailer, managing partnerships with licensors, production, and product development.

Trina is also a founding member and serves on the Executive Board of Free Arts NYC, a local non-profit that provides under-served children and families with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs.


Erica joined Mixed Media Group in 2012 and oversees new client opportunities. She is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and brand extensions for new and existing clients, as well as spearheading new initiatives in media and technology to drive growth and innovation.

Prior to joining Mixed Media Group, Erica was the Director of Operations at Milk Restaurant Partners, advising restaurant industry clients on branding, social media optimization, and operational and culinary strategy. She also worked at television specialty channel Food Network, where she focused on new business development and production.

Erica worked as a Research Analyst at hedge fund Moore Capital, covering consumer products, gaming and lodging, and food and beverage industries. Erica holds a B.A. from Columbia University and degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Management from the Institute of Culinary Education.
